Summary translations are ideal for situations where the turnaround time is extremely short. Summary translations are not optimized for publishing. This is often the case with audio translation of material going to court. For example, legal translation guidelines in Puerto Rico require material being presented as evidence in court to be in the format of transcription of the originally spoken material, which is then accompanied by the corresponding translation.
